Who is House?
Mike House ... People who know and work out with him simply call him House. Who is he? Honestly, House is probably one of the genuine and nicest guys to walk the streets in Houston.
House grew up in the Sugar Land area and excelled at many sports. In fact, a s a senior at Dulles High School, House led his team to the state tournament in basketball, and was considered one of the top guards in the state. Yet, he always felt something was missing. He soon found out his calling.
Between his senior year in High School and freshman year in college, House found boxing. In a matter of months, House was one of the top amateur fighters in Houston in his weight-class. In fact, he went on to win three (3) Golden Gloves in his weight-class in consecutive years. All while he was attending Sam Houston State.
After graduating from Sam Houston in 1991, House turned pro and fought 11 professional fights with only one (1) loss. After realizing that he entered boxing at an age several years past most, he knew he would never have the chance of competing at the highest level. What did House do? He joined the United States Army.
The Army realized very quickly that House was into conditioning and could train soldiers and figthers. Soon, he found himself in Killeen, TX, as a boxing trainer for the Army. He also earned his MS in Strength Conditioning from the United States Sports Academy in 1998.
After leaving the Army, House became engrossed in physical conditioning. For the next 10+ years, House held the following positions as a trainer and coach:
• National Stregth and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
• USA Weightlifting Club Coach and Trainer
• Russion Kettlebell Challenge I & II
• American Kettlebell Club - Certified Coach
• International Kettlebell & Fitness Federation - Certified Kettlebell Trainer
• Personal Trainer
Now, sick of the mega-gyms, and wanting to really make people strong, House has opened his own place. He wants to train those wanting to get strong. He doesn't want crybabies, mirror-watching, whinning and pretentious pansies. If you are like this ... go back to your temperature controlled gym where they make crappy smoothies and know more about perfume than physical fitness.
If you want to become incredibly strong, come see House. Set up an appointment for a free session. You won't be disappointed. |
